Conran AfricaConran Africa is a pioneering and innovative design-led project that celebrates original South African design. Working closely with the Conran team, and led by Sebastian, Woolworths South Africa collaborated with SA's top crafters to create a unique homeware collection.
"The principle aim of Conran Africa is to produce beautiful, contemporary African sourced products that people will aspire to have in their homes," explains Sebastian. "It's not just about creating another classic cup, it's about making things special and different as well as capturing people's imaginations."
The project was part of the Black Economic Empowerment initiative and was designed to show what can be achieved with African talent and resources.
