Incorporating a 176 degree angle, echoing the natural contour of the human face, the Conran Phone was designed as an exclusive, simple, stylish and elegant offer to compliment the NTT DoCoMo range. One of Sebastian’s last projects with Studio Conran, the slender candy-bar profile, measuring just 11mm thin, was radically different from the flip phones common in Japan at the time. Manufactured by LG Electronics under the Conran Brand, the phone was positioned as a lifestyle product targeting the design-conscious consumer.
