Alongside the development of the Gifu Collection, we created the brand and visual identity of the range. This included a full range of assets to support the collection's launch, from brochures to website design.

Cohesive Identity

In support of the Gifu Collection, we handled every detail of the graphic implementation. This ranged form product branding, producing catalogues for each year’s launch at Maison & Objet and outlining the product photography for over 150 individual designs as well as the design of their packaging. SCA worked with each of the makers to ensure a coherent visual identity tied the collection together.

Developing the Design

We refreshed the catalogue design as well as the supporting promotional items throughout the project. 2019 included 18 individual maker postcards and an A5 brochure inside a custom-designed slipcase.

We also evolved the website over the 3-year project, working to simplify the user journey while adding additional makers. Aside from the main collection website, in the third year we also worked with a Japanese developer on a sales platform, called Gifu Select, which gives the makers the ability to generate direct international sales.
