Developed by CqR in partnership with Sebastian Conran Associates and Sheffield University, IntelliTable is intended for domestic and light industrial use. Currently at an advanced prototype stage, the Intellitable has been showcased around the world.
IntelliTable is an elegant over-bed table with robotic features to help people with mobility impairments.
Future homes will integrate robotic technology into many everyday devices and objects; expanding their functionality, ease-of-use, and customisability. An important class of objects will be items of furniture that have embedded intelligence and actuation capabilities. ‘Intelligent furniture’ will be useful to everyone but particularly to people with limited mobility.
