Their aim is to bring affordable power to homes far from the existing electrical grid. This includes all aspects of the industrial and systems design, aiming to bring as much value for the end-user as possible whilst maintaining the essential affordability.
Off-Grid Lighting
Our work has included the design and development of a batch of fully-functioning prototypes for Shamba’s first products, including solar lighting and solar power distribution, for field-testing in Tanzania. SCA are now helping Shamba Technologies move their affordable but innovative technology forward in new and exciting directions.
